BIOS gary savage:
Gary was coaxed into private piano lessons at the age of 10, but his true desire was to play the guitar. At 13 he embarked upon private guitar lessons, and soon began playing and singing in rock bands throughout the Portland area. Gary has performed around the NW and throughout Canada, including a year-long tour with Jan & Dean. Gary has degrees in Radio and TV Broadcasting and Music Theory. He also completed a sound engineering program which led to a job writing and performing jingles. He is back in Portland where he currently owns and engineers Diamond Recording Studios. Positively Entertainment magazine labels him an “excellent musician” and “out of this world performer”. Instrument list includes guitar, saxophone, harmonica, and vocals.
